I purchased this basket about 9 years ago on Nantucket during my wedding. Since then it’s been used only a handful of times.

It has been carefully stored, though sadly the end of the whales tail has been broken and I am unable to find the piece. Additionally, there are signs of wear throughout and one of the hinges to the basket could use repair, though it does fully close.

It’s a wonderful piece for a collector looking to make some repairs or someone visiting the island.
