The Models
A complete set of all four ERTL "Indy Cars" Penske PC9 replicas, each finished in its correct period livery: Bobby Unser in the black and gold Norton Spirit car (#11), Rick Mears in the black, white and red Gould Charge car (#1), Mario Andretti in the black, white and red Essex car (#12), and Bill Alsup in the black and white A B Dick Pacemaker car (#12). Each model remains factory-sealed on its original blister card, with driver photo and team livery details printed on the header card.
Condition
All four models remain sealed to their blister cards and appear unplayed-with. The outer boxes show some handling wear consistent with age, including edge and corner rubbing. Please view the photos closely as these form part of the description.

The Real Car
The Penske PC9 was Team Penske's Indy car for the 1981–82 CART season, built in-house by Penske Cars in Poole, England. It was fielded under several different sponsor liveries for the team's drivers, including Bobby Unser, Rick Mears, Mario Andretti, and Bill Alsup — all four of whom are represented in this ERTL set.
