This ring is a stunning 10k gold Victorian Moi Et Toi ring featuring an engraved band with an inscription. The main stone is beautiful and flashy moonstone, adding a touch of elegance and mystery to the piece. The ring is a unique and antique piece, perfect for those who appreciate vintage and unique jewelry. The band style makes it a versatile piece that can be worn comfortably on a daily basis.
The shank features a very fancy design. Inside of the ring is an inscription I can only read part of it. It says “Georgia from A…”. It clearly says a lot more, but most of it has been lost through time. This is a really cool ring.
Each orb has a 5.1 mm diameter. They are in very good condition. I am not a gemologist. I am an antique dealer. Having said that- to the naked eye, I cannot see any damage or abrasion to the moonstones. However, when I look at it underneath the stereomicroscope, I can see that the surfaces of both are abraded in a very nice fashion, which is to be expected from a ring that is likely 150-170 years old.
As for the clarity- I am not sure. They look clear to me, but they aren't as clear as like a window pane. I am not as familiar with moonstone as other other gemstones, so I think clear but where the stones are abraded, it is a little more opaque.
All pieces are shipped fully insured and require a person’s signature upon delivery. Any boxes or background images used in this posting are for display only and do not come with the ring.
