Vintage Diplomacy board game by Avalon Hill, copyright 1976. This is the sought-after bookshelf edition with the classic colorful map and iconic plastic pieces.

Diplomacy is a pure strategy game - no dice, no luck - driven entirely by negotiation and tactics. This edition uses the traditional 1971 ruleset, considered the standard by longtime players.

In excellent condition. Never played - only orange set of pieces opened (in new bag), but all other pieces never opened.. Board is in fantastic condition + colours are all still very vivid + bright. Box has some marks on the outside - this is from storage over the years - some tape/tape marks too, where it had been taped closed for a long time. From a smoke-free home.
