LeapFrog Tag Books HUGE Lot + Tag Reader (Untested) 

Remember when touching a book with a magic pen felt like living in the future?  Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Up for auction is a large lot of LeapFrog Tag interactive books, plus one Tag Reader.  My kids absolutely loved these... back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth (or at least when HD DVD discs were still a thing).  These books have been sitting patiently on a shelf for well over 10 years, waiting for their triumphant return.

The books are designed for children around ages 4 to 7 and work with the LeapFrog Tag system, where the reader can read stories aloud, play games, and generally convince kids that reading is actually fun.

A few important notes:

• Includes a LeapFrog Tag Reader.
• The reader is UNTESTED. I don't have the USB cable, software, or a compatible setup to verify that it still works.  Consider it a bonus item rather than the reason you're buying the lot.  No battery leakage inside.
• I also have no idea whether LeapFrog still supports the Tag ecosystem.  If you're a collector, a nostalgic parent, or a tech archaeologist, you probably know more than I do.
• The books are from the original owner and come from a smoke-free home.

Why am I selling them?  My kids have long since graduated from talking books to talking back.  🤣

The box weighs about 8 pounds, so shipping isn't as cheap as I'd like. Because the Tag Reader is included, I can't ship these via Media Mail.

Hopefully these books can find a new home with someone who can enjoy them, collect them, or breathe new life into this little piece of early-2000s educational wizardry.
