Beige in color, jelly straps have discoloration to more of a yellow tone, maybe always that way. My foot is narrow and these jelly straps are not snug. Not sure if that could be fixed by a shoe repair shop or not. Maybe just the style, wider strap, wider fit.
Have not tried to clean up around the sides with Dawn dish soap but take a look at the photos so you know exactly what you are buying.
No chunks out of the foam or smells to report.
