Dalton Ltd. of Nottingham (now Daltons Wadkin). Unlike most industrial machinery of this era, this machine has been converted to run on standard 240V single-phase household electricity. It features a high-quality, British-made Crompton Parkinson A.C. Motor (1.0 HP / 1425 RPM) out of Doncaster, paired with a heavy-duty industrial push-button starter switchbox. It can be plugged straight into a standard UK wall socket—perfect for home workshops, garage setups, or smaller commercial joinery shops where 3-phase power is not available.
