The LA PALMA was originally built in 1952 as FERDINAND DE LESSEPS for the Messageries Maritimes.       

This lovely postcard is in very good condition.

A MESSAGE REGARDING SHIPPING COSTS:  We have been attempting to hold down the costs to U.S. customers by not raising the mailing costs for some time now but unfortunately, the U.S. Postal Service has relentlessly continued raising the rates.  We sincerely apologize for this and please know we do not make any profit on shipping costs.    

For U.S. customers: $5.89 (via Ground Advantage, which includes tracking) for ANY AMOUNT of lots purchased, whether it be one item or one hundred, the shipping fee will only be $5.89.  

PLEASE NOTE:  should you purchase multiple lots, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you wait for us to send you a COMBINED invoice or else eBay will automatically charge you the $5.89 shipping fee per item and we won't have a way to refund your money.  Again, if purchasing multiple lots, please WAIT FOR OUR COMBINED INVOICE!!

Overseas (and Canada) up to 3 cards, $4.00.  Should your purchase be larger, we are always happy to combine lots to save you money.

We ship on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday only.

NOTE: Due to a recent rash of claims of lost parcels from certain overseas destinations (South America and eastern Europe), your purchase will be sent via a mailing service which requires tracking and/or insurance, for our mutual protection.  

Also, should your purchase be a large amount (approx. $50.00) we will now advise the buyer when sending the invoice if your parcel will require Registered Mail (or a similar tracking service), as we cannot be responsible for lost mail. Lastly, we reserve the right to cancel a transaction should the buyer refuse these terms.  If you have any questions, please contact us BEFORE bidding.
