Vintage Buchan Scotland Thistleware 187/10 Stoneware Tankard Mugs Set 2 Scottish, crafted in Portobello, Scotland.

Each mug features the classic Scottish thistle design in muted purple, green, blue and red against pale blue-white stoneware. The tankard-style shape has a raised footed base and small curved handle.

Each measures approximately 4 1/8 inches tall and 2 5/8 inches wide. Includes two matching mugs.

Condition: Each mug has one chip along the lower base rim. One mug has a larger, shallow chip; the other has a smaller chip in the same general base area. Both chips are photographed and do not extend through the body of either mug. No other chips or cracks were reported or observed. Light surface, shelf and handling wear may be present from age and previous use. Review all photos closely before purchasing. Hand wash recommended.
