I'm reluctantly selling my much-loved 2001 Volkswagen Transporter T4 Campervan Conversion (only selling as my partner has bought a newer, fully converted T6). It's been a fantastic camper and runs great. These iconic T4s continue to grow in popularity, and good, honest examples are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
Powered by the dependable 1.9 litre diesel engine with an aftermarket turbo fitted, it starts first time, drives superbly and is a pleasure to own. With 168,500 miles, it has been well maintained throughout its life and still performs exactly as it should. Has 6 months left on current MOT.
The van has had just 5 registered keepers in 25 years, with the first two registered keepers both being mechanics, which I believe is reflected in how well it has been maintained and how well it drives today.

Like any 25-year-old vehicle, there are some age-related marks and minor cosmetic imperfections to be expected, but nothing that detracts from its overall appearance or enjoyment.
The passenger interior door handle requires refitting and there is small section where paint needs touch up (as seen in pics). The new door handle is included and simply needs to be reattached.
The van also comes with a pair of polished stainless steel side bars, which are included in the sale but will require fitting.
Other than these minor jobs, the van is ready to drive away and enjoy immediately.
