A rare opportunity to buy a pair of great vintage Hadley glasses which are a really lovely example of pantos - they look just like the Beaufort frames by Savile Row and are made to the same traditional British pattern as Algha. The bridge and temple are marked HADLEY (pictured).
This pair is silver with chestnut tortoiseshell red / brown rims, in a beautiful panto style similar to those famously worn by Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones and Johnny Depp in The Ninth Gate (both pictured).
These have curlside / windsor temples which are really smart and wrap nicely around the ear.
Condition: good overall vintage condition, with a little bit of wear to the silver on the bridge (pictured). Nothing structural - they wear beautifully.
The Savile Row Beaufort goes for £837 (if you have a look at the website) so this is a chance to get the same look for a fraction of the price. I collect and wear pairs of this age and they're so well made.
They're included without lenses, for you to add your own prescription afterwards.
Classic vintage shape but they still look really good with modern outfits! 120mm across, 42mm lens width, 20mm bridge - small - medium vintage sizing!
I'm personally offloading my collection just now as I've got waaay too many.
