This is a five-volume set of Vanity Fair Albums featuring green spines with gilt lettering and ornamental details.The volumes are explicitly dated on the spines, ranging from 1869 to 1873. They contain colour lithograph caricatures of famous people from the Victorian era & advertising of the time. The publication typically features gilt-embellished billiard green cloth boards. These albums were published by the Vanity Fair office starting in 1869.

Please see photos for condition. There are loose pages in the books and wear to the covers especially in the corners. Most pages are clean with no browning or foxing. I have not checked to see is every page is present in each book as I do not wish to open them all up as they are delicate and I do not want to damage them. Series 1 may have first pre title page missing.
