It’s hard to know what to say about Trefor and T4 because I’ve loved him for 8 years - he’s been my work horse. 

I’m a festival trader so I needed a can with a very comfortable bed that was reliable and could do a lot of miles each year … he’s done that for me! 

This year was the year I was going to do him up!!! But … the cam belt snapped! I poured all my funds into rebuilding the engine with 2 specialists including an engineer and steel manufacturer who rebuilt the pistons and heads etc (I’ve attatched a photo of the work he did) 

And now … I’m out of funds and all the plans I had for Trefor now need to end. 

He’s also had lots of great welding work done at Ashwell motors in liverpool and a new N75

The engine has had a full set of new hoses and the work to get him back on the road after the dreads cam belt disaster has cost in excess of £6000

It’s made me real sad because I love this van but I’ve come to the end of the road with this one. 

Also included in the sale is my fab custom roof rack think it cost approx £750 - wooden slatted base with steel bars

New water pump and full new belts - standard of course with an engine rebuild) 

Exhausted needs a bracket - sometimes vibrant a little when you pull away. Gear linkages could do with very slight adjustment perhaps 

Starts on the button every time like straight away, fires up with almost zero chugging - brand new battery too.  

Anyway I’ve made a full size double bed in the back with an extremely comfortable mattress which will be included and the bed folds up into a bulk head for transporting lots of goods (for the festivals I do) I thought it was a handy with build - super simple with plenty of storage underneath the bed when your taking a trip 

He’s ready for a summer of fun with MOT till September - the engine is now sound with no oil leaks either as all that seals were replaced when rebuilding. 

Allots could be changed for certain - plenty of treading the tyres.

My suggestion would be go have a summer of fun, take some trips, get to know the van then … in the autumn, make what I’ve started and make it amazing, I’ve done a lot of the heavily lifting under the bonnet, it should be about tarting him up now. 

Payment and collection straight after auction within 3 days of ending due to being on the road mid festival season and time restraints. 

Collection from liverpool - drive it away same day of purchase as its still taxed too.
