Super rare Bassett Lowke cased model of RMS Queen Elizabeth, this model would have been made by Judith Hughes i believe as a Special order in the 1950's

Looks to be a Bassett Lowke Case with Name Plaque and Stats on RMS QUEEN ELIZABETH RARE
I cannot see a Bassett Lowke makers mark [ but the gentleman i got this from purchased in the UK as a Special order and brought back to Australia years ago
Van Ryper Wood and wire style model but this Model is more likely Bassett Lowke , Model is screwed to base and the case is also screwed in on sides [ that's why there is a couple of cracks on perspex case, someone overtightened at some stage]

I love this model but need more room !
Condition : Model looks to be in fine condition on blue waterline base,protected by triangled perspex case minor marks and blemishes on case and base paint work triangle case which has visable cracks, all this is consistent with age of model as its around 70 years old, see images ask questions
But this model is in very special condition lovely detail , lovely paint work
These models are hard to find in Perfect Condition the models where sometimes giving to children and played with which in the end resulted in bumps and bruises , paint chips damage and missing parts. These are an Adult Only Toy keep sake model !nice model for 70 + years old !
