Framed 1915 Australian Penny (London Mint) — "1915 Gallipoli" Commemorative Display

A genuine 1915 Australian one penny, mounted and framed in timber with a "1915 Gallipoli" inscription. The coin was struck the same year Australian troops landed at Anzac Cove — which is what gives the piece its meaning, rather than being a modern reproduction or a novelty strike.

The scarce date

1915 is a genuinely scarce year in the Australian penny series. Pennies dated 1915 came from two mints: Heaton & Sons in Birmingham struck 1,320,000, identified by a small "H" below the lower scroll on the reverse, and the Royal Mint in London struck 960,000 with no mintmark at all.

I have checked the reverse carefully and there is no H below the lower scroll — this is the London striking, the scarcer of the two, with the smaller mintage. For context, later pennies were struck in the tens of millions; 1943 alone accounted for over 53 million. Please see the close-up photo of the scroll area.
