This is an original WWII Japanese Army leather holster for the Type 94 Nambu pistol.

The holster shows clear signs of actual military use, including surface wear and a well-defined impression from a pistol having been carried inside.

The leather has a fine, naturally wrinkled grain and appears to be pigskin, a material commonly used for original Type 94 Nambu holsters.

The rear is fitted with the original wide belt loop and two steel D-rings for attaching a shoulder strap. The pointed closure flap and vertically positioned spare-magazine pouch are characteristic features of the Type 94 holster.

Condition:

The leather shows overall wear, scuffs, discoloration, creasing, and age-related surface marks.

Despite its age, the leather remains relatively supple and the holster retains its shape.

The stitching appears complete throughout, with no major separated seams.

Both steel D-rings remain securely attached and show surface rust and oxidation.

The snap fastener functions properly.

There is wear along the leather reinforcement binding around the edge of the closure flap. As shown in the final photographs, the binding has one small cut or split, but it is not fully separated.

No shoulder strap, cleaning rod, spare magazine, or pistol is included.
