DJH Kit Built OO / HO Gauge - LNER Class U1 Beyer-Garratt No. 2395

An impressive, heavy kit-built model of the famous LNER Class U1 2-8-0+0-8-2 Beyer-Garratt locomotive (No. 2395) in LNER lined black/grey livery.

Built from a high-quality white metal / brass kit. This magnificent model has spent the last 30+ years as a display cabinet piece and is now offered for sale.

Untested on track recently due to long-term storage. The motor and mechanism may require standard light servicing/re-oiling. So please view as display item.

Due to the scale fidelity, long length, and rigid wheel arrangement of the Garratt design, this locomotive requires wide-radius curves and will not navigate tight standard train-set curves (e.g. 1st/2nd radius).
