Published information: the No. 2A Brownie was introduced in 1907 and discontinued in 1936. It has a meniscus lens behind a two speed rotary shutter with three aperture settings of roughly f/11, f/16 and f/22, and it produces negatives of 2.5 by 4.25 inches. The range was made as the Model B from 1911 to 1924 with a cardboard body and as the Model C from 1924 to 1933 with an aluminium chassis. Which of the two this example is has not been identified, so no model letter is claimed here and no production year is stated.

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BUYING: 116 roll film has been out of production for decades and is not available, so this camera is bought for display or for a collection rather than for shooting.

CONDITION: The leather carrying handle has come away from the body. It is included loose, together with a metal eyelet and a small metal latch piece, all shown separately in the photos. The leather is dry and crumbling. The body covering is worn through at the corners and along the edges, showing the pale material underneath. The main faces of the covering are intact and the camera presents well from the front.

Untested, no film was run through it. Only what is shown in the photos is included. Please study all photos carefully before purchasing.
