A vintage indian sadeli sandalwood large carved box in good used condition.

It is heavily and intricately carved with floral pattern and birds around the sides and 2 temples on the lid.

It could be an Anglo Indian glove box from early 20th century.

The mosaic is in good condition, a few small marks and nibbles.

The carved wood has some wear around the bottom of the sides as shown in the last 3 photos.  Also a small crack as shown in the photo.

It measures 30cm x 12cm x 7cm high.
