Character Description:
The Earth Dragon Balls are seven mystical orange spheres created by Kami and later restored by Dende, central to the storyline of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. Each ball is marked with one to seven red stars, and when gathered together they summon the Eternal Dragon Shenron, who grants wishes within certain limits. Throughout the series, the Earth Dragon Balls drive major arcs including the revival of fallen warriors after battles with Vegeta, Frieza, Cell, and Majin Buu, making them a foundational element of the franchise's mythology. Unlike the Namekian or Super Dragon Balls introduced later, the Earth Dragon Balls are tied specifically to Earth's guardian and reflect the series' early themes of adventure, martial arts, sacrifice, and resurrection. Their iconic orange glow and star patterns remain one of the most recognizable symbols in Dragon Ball history.
