A layered vintage dress from Vivienne Tam's Japanese label line. Sheer printed nylon mesh — an allover oriental rug and carpet motif, ikat stripes and medallions in faded coral, pink, chartreuse and violet — sits over a deep teal stretch body, with a solid teal mesh yoke across the chest and scalloped raw-cut mesh edges that give the print a hand-torn silhouette. Short set-in sleeves, a gently A-line skirt that widens toward the hem, and hidden slash pockets at both side seams. Exactly the layered, semi-sheer print construction Vivienne Tam is collected for.

Please note: the skirt hem and the mesh edges are raw-cut by design — this is the original finish, not damage or a repair.

Size & Measurements

This dress runs very small. Tagged size 0 (Japanese label line) — best suited to US 0–2 / UK 4–6 / XS. The lower body contains 5% polyurethane so it has a comfortable stretch, but please compare the flat measurements above against a garment you already own before buying.

Material

Condition

This dress has been stored, not used. There are no holes, no snags, no pulls and no moth damage anywhere on the garment. The mesh layer is completely intact, the print remains vivid with no fading, and there is no staining, discoloration or odor. Seams and stitching are all sound.

Two points visible in the photos that are construction details, not flaws:

• The vertical openings on the teal lower body are slash pockets, one on each side seam.
• The skirt hem and the scalloped mesh edges are left raw and uncut by design — the original factory finish.

Care

Fine nylon mesh over a rayon-blend stretch body. Hand wash cold or dry clean, do not tumble dry, and dry flat away from direct sunlight. Iron on low with a pressing cloth if needed.
