The 22-fret neck, bound and with a moderate thickness designed to enhance tone and sustain, is a core feature of the McCarty 594. It includes a two-piece bridge with brass saddles and steel studs, a bone nut, and PRS Phase III tuners with brass shafts.
In addition, it features the newly added McCarty III pickup, inspired by vintage guitars and producing a warm, rich vintage sound. Furthermore, the combination of a push/pull tone knob for coil tapping and a 3-way toggle switch allows for a wide range of sound shaping.
