This cornet was manufactured by Borden and Fuchs in Bohemia so it is an earlier instrument possibly in the 1870s on up to the late 1800s. There is some mention of silver plating and it almost looks that way. The identification of the instrument is written in script which also indicates it is an earlier instrument. Bohemia became Czechoslovakia in the '40s I believe. This cornet is probably a wall hanger as it needs a lot of work. If you like working with instruments this is the one for you.
