Antique Ottoman Turkish edition of Der Vasf-ı Hûbânnâme by Enderunlu Fazıl, dating to approximately 1255 AH / 1839–1840. The work is a poetic treatment of male beauty and regional character types, written by one of the better-known poets of the late Ottoman classical tradition.
Printed in Ottoman Turkish using Arabic script and bound in marbled paper-covered boards. This copy shows age and handling wear, including rubbing and discoloration to the covers, rounded and worn corners, edge wear, scattered staining and spotting, page toning, occasional creases, and an old inventory label and stamped number. The text remains generally clear and readable, and the binding appears intact. Only Hûbânnâme is confirmed from the pages shown; no claim is being made that this copy includes additional works.
