Antique first edition of Kızlar Ağası by Ottoman historian Ahmed Refik Altınay, published in Istanbul in 1926 by the Akbaba–Papağan Kütüphanesi and printed by İlhami–Fevzi Matbaası. Bibliographic records identify this as the original 1926 Ottoman-script edition.

The book examines the role of the Kızlar Ağası, or Chief Black Eunuch, within the Ottoman palace and harem, including court influence, political intrigue, and relationships involving the sultans and valide sultans.

Bound in red cloth with gilt Ottoman lettering. The exterior has rubbing, discoloration, edge wear, bumped corners, and light fraying. The title page and early leaves have moderate foxing, staining, smudging, and old ownership or library markings. Additional spotting appears throughout, though the majority of the text remains clear and readable. Binding appears intact, with general wear consistent with age. Please review all photographs for condition and completeness.
