Antique Victorian Marquetry Parquetry Geometric Box, Rare Geometric Design, c. 1880
The box has a wonderful look, a real statement piece of design.
Consisting of several different woods - possibly exotic woods.
In reasonable condition considering its age and design. There are some losses in areas. Due to the design the losses are not very noticeable. Please see all images for a better understanding of the condition. Looks like it has had a more recent plush interior added - so would make for a nice jewellery box.
