Vintage Al Mar Eskimo fixed-blade knife, made in Seki, Japan.

This is a later-production Eskimo supplied with a black leather sheath. Earlier examples were sold with a fur-covered sheath, while later versions were supplied with brown or black leather sheaths.

The knife has a profile similar to the Al Mar Model 4101TW Tanken, but features the distinctive “ESKIMO” blade marking and highly polished finish.

The knife is unused and retains its original factory edge.

There are a few light storage scratches and small marks on the blade that are visible depending on the angle of the light. The brass handle pins show some natural tarnishing from age.

The original leather sheath appears unused and does not show insertion wear from the knife. There is a small shallow indentation on the surface of the sheath.

Includes the original Al Mar box, Japanese purchaser card, paperwork, and paper blade sleeve. The box shows minor storage wear.

A scarce boxed example of the later Al Mar Eskimo, especially difficult to find in this unused condition with its original sheath and Japanese-market paperwork.
