A rare early-period Isabel Marant maxi skirt from the main line — made before the Étoile diffusion label came to dominate the market. The entire skirt is covered in dense chain-stitch crewel embroidery worked in rust-red cotton thread over a deep aubergine ground.
Contrasting fuchsia panels at the waistband and hem carry a separate floral-and-paisley motif, accented with small turquoise details — the kind of finishing that shows how much hand work went into this piece.
This is the Isabel Marant that built the brand’s reputation: artisanal, folkloric, and unmistakably Parisian bohemian. Very few main-line embroidered maxi skirts from this era reach the market.

| ● | Embroidery: no noticeable snags, pulls, or missing threads. All motifs are intact. |
| ● | No noticeable stains or discoloration, including at the hem and inside the waistband. |
| ● | No fading. The aubergine ground and rust embroidery remain even and vivid throughout. |
