Artist: Dorothy Burt Martin (1882-1949).

Educated at the Wolverhampton School of Art and the Royal College of Art, Dorothy Martin served as the Head of Art at Roedean School. She was a skilled etcher who taught students in the craft at both Roedean and the Brighton Municipal School of Art.
