Pre-owned late Victorian antique condition. Features ornate hand-chased relief work, cast feet, and a classic period monogram on the front reserve. Shows light age-appropriate surface tarnish and minor handling wear along the interior rim and metal body. One handle seems to be a slightly different size. This exquisite piece showcases elaborate Rococo Revival styling, featuring heavy repousse work with hand-chased acanthus leaf and scrolling motifs set against a finely textured ground. It stands gracefully on four ornate cast shell-and-scroll feet and is framed by two sweeping high-swirl handles. The front body displays a period triple-letter script monogram. Stamped on the underside with the official Howard Sterling Co. shield/grid hallmark alongside STERLING 925 FINE and pattern number 3378.
