Here we have a rare Vintage Mid Century Hand Colored Photomechanical Lithograph Print. It is a Reproduction based off the original Engraving from J.J. Audubon. The piece is titled “Snowy Heron, or White Egret., Andrea Candidissima, Gm., Male adult spring plumage, Rice Plantation South Carolina.” (Plate. CCXLL. (242))

It has markings on it noting the Publisher’s Information, date, name and location. “Hand colored & published 1953 by Artistic Picture Publishing Co. Inc. New York City” is printed in the lower right outermost margin corner and their copyright, initials and date “© A. Inc. 1953” is in the lower left.

The total size of the piece is 30” x 24.” While the size of the actual colored portion 22 1/2” x 19.” It has been stored rolled in a tube for many years, so it wants to roll back up when not weighed down. It will be shipped in a mailing tube.
