The Tramex DS Dec Scanner addresses the challenge of locating and comparing moisture conditions across roofing and waterproofing systems without relying on isolated spot readings. Its wheeled scanning configuration supports continuous surface coverage while the analog controls provide immediate comparative feedback during the survey.

The rubber electrode mat maintains contact with the surveyed surface while a low-frequency electrical signal passes through the roofing assembly. Changes in electrical impedance alter the measured response, allowing moisture variations to be compared against a dry reference area as the scanner moves across the roof.
