The quite legendary and VERY difficult to find Peavey Austin 400 - loved by its users as a seriously powerful (210 watts!) amplifier that can handle acoustic guitars without the usual dreadful feedback and inappropriate equalisation that you get when plugging in to a 'standard' electric guitar amp. Just look up on the internet what acoustic players say about it!  Electric isn't forgotten either making this one of very few amps that seriously deal with both types. You rarely see these for sale as those that have them really don't want to sell them - and you'll see just why once its yours!

Like all Peaveys that I've worked on this is a PROPER robust amp, beautifully put together with quality materials- just look at the size of that transformer! That's not blowing out any time soon!


Serviced today, Live, Neutral and Earth have all been checked for security and continuity as have all the internal fuses. A proper, protective-bagged reverb tank, Scorpion 12" speakers and twin horn for sparkle. In generally excellent condition, the tolex has the odd nick (pictured). It's had additional castors added in its past making it MUCH easier to move around too. Needs a 'kettle' type lead. I can supply one for just £3.50 but you may well already have your own..?
