The Hurricane Coin & Stamp Display Gift Set

The display, sized 15cm x 10cm, contains a 2007 Gibraltar crown struck to commemorate the history of the RAF and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the reverse depicts two Hawker Hurricane fighter planes and the obverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, plus a 1986 British postage stamp, issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first R.A.F Commands 1936 to 1986, which shows a Hawker Hurricane Mk.1 and Lord Dowding, head of Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain in 1940.

The crown is in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition and the stamp is in unused Mint condition as issued.

The product is supplied in a clear protective sleeve so both sides of the coin can be viewed.

Our manufacturing process includes a precision laser cutting method to create the necessary holes in each display for the required coins to be inserted and held, safely recessed, in the correct position.
