This copy was issued by the London Irish Rifles Old Comrades’ Association and includes the original accompanying letter addressed:

“To the Next of Kin of those who, serving with the London Irish Rifles (The Royal Ulster Rifles) during the War 1939–1945, gave their lives.”

These books were presented to bereaved families after the war and were not standard retail editions. Foreword by Field Marshal Viscount Alexander, Governor-General of Canada, adding a strong Commonwealth connection.
