The Airstream Bambi is the most collected and coveted Airstream.

They are beautiful, towable and a limited number were made between 1961 and 1963. The MOMA museum in New York had one displayed in it.

This one was imported over from outside Baltimore in 2023 where it had been in the same family from new in 1962.

A professional renovation project was undertaken, the interior was painstakingly removed and each part of the Bambi was either renovated or remodelled accurate to the original installation.

It has a new UK approved Axel fitted and is light enough to be towed by almost any car.

No expense has been spared on the interior fit out. the upholstery with feather filled wrap around back cushion, the oak lights and the oak table beautifully complement the flax blinds and toggle ties. The rare floating bunk has been remade with navy canvas and hessian rope.

All the luxury fittings, the Tala lamp, the Pendleton blanket, the retro Smeg kettle, the Pendleton plates and bowls are all included in the sale. As is 'the Bambi bedding bag' carefully designed to help turn the sofa into a double bed.

It has a stunning rope and wooden pole awning with a fringe front, an outdoor rug and two canvas chairs and a wooden table also included.

Air conditioning is also fitted inside - discretely positioned behind the original heater grid. There is also an exterior shower fitted in the side locker, can be used for washing the sand off from the beach on your sea side vacation or other outside activities.

This is a rare and exceptionally executed original Airstream.
