Amazingly, Mojotone has accomplished this feat without the use PC boards, batteries, or other methods normally employed in hum-cancelling pickups. They've used only the parts and materials found in the genuine articles, including low-gauss Alnico V magnets, black fiberboard bobbins, spec 43-gauge coil wire, and waxed cloth-covered leads. The result is pure Broadcaster tone, as authentic as possible, with the addition of hum-free performance in any switch position. Guitarists at Sweetwater also love the fact that no routing mods are required to get that vintage-style oomph and midrange bump in the bridge position.
