Vintage IKEA Strateg NEW boxed 16 piece cutlery flatware set designed by Ehlen Johansson -  This particular design can be seen in several episodes of Star Trek Deep Space Nine (Listed Below)

This is a genuine vintage IKEA Strateg 16 piece cutlery/flatware set in its original 1991 box and packaging. It is new and unused.

The set contains 4 place settings so is 16 pieces in total: 4 dinner knives, 4 dinner forks, 4 dinner spoons and 4 teaspoons.

The cutlery has never been used and is factory pristine devoid entirely free of wear marks you find on used items. This set remains in its original presentation box. There is evidence that the box has been opened and the outer packaging shows signs of light storage wear/ageing consistent with its age but the contents are unused.

The set was designed by Ehlen Johansson for IKEA who introduced it for sale in 1991. Her post modern and minimalist designs are highly sought after. This set was reputed to have been on sale for one year only making it one of the more distinctive and less commonly found cutlery sets from the 1990s.

STAR TREK SEEP SPACE NINE CONNECTION

One of the most interesting aspects of the IKEA Strateg range is that it was used in several episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. It's ultra-modernist design fitted the show's futuristic aesthetic making it a recognisable prop for fans and very highly collectable. 

It is virtually impossible to find new boxed original vintage sets of IKEA Strateg making this a unique opportunity.
