Here is an exceptional example of Victorian yellowware majolica, specifically a Pitcher produced by the renowned English firm Banks & Thorley.
The piece features a deeply molded basketweave pattern on a warm honey-yellow ground, accented with vibrant relief-molded bamboo leaves in shades of green and soft orchid. The handle is designed to mimic a textured bamboo stalk, a hallmark of the 19th-century "Naturalist" and "Aesthetic Movement" styles.

Authentication & History:
• Manufacturer: Banks & Thorley (Staffordshire, England).
• Registry Mark: Features a clear Diamond Registry Mark on the underside.
• Registration Date: Nov 17, 1876.
• Material: Glazed Yellowware / Majolica.
Condition:
The piece is in remarkable antique condition for its age. It exhibits authentic, significant glaze crazing throughout, which is a desirable indicator of 19th-century lead-glazed pottery. There are minor chips and wear spots consistent with utilitarian use in a Victorian kitchen, adding to its rustic charm and historical integrity. There are two small hairline crack left front inside and out -  hard to notice on outside without magnifier - See last photos. No structural repairs noted.
