This camera received a full CLA / overhaul by a professional camera repair
specialist in Japan (via Kitamura Camera, Shinjuku Tokyo) in June 2026.
Service performed:
- Complete overhaul: disassembly, cleaning, re-lubrication and precision adjustment
- Shutter curtain replaced with a new one (due to partial deterioration)
- Shutter release mechanism repaired (cleaned and re-greased) - now works properly
- Shutter speeds confirmed accurate (approximately as indicated)
- Flange back (depth) adjusted: 3 light-seal parts and 5 adjustment washers replaced
- Viewfinder cleaned (mold and haze removed as much as possible)
Note: Minor age-related haze/marks inside the viewfinder windows remain,
as they are inaccessible without risking damage. Rangefinder works properly.
The repair report (shown in photos) is included for your reference.
