This includes an insurance appraisal dated 7/1/2026, from a credible violin maker (see photos). The appraisal issues guidance on the maximum insurable amount of the instrument, for replacement value. Obviously, the sale value can be more subjective and determined by mutual agreement.
I am not the first owner, but the first owner was my grandfather, passed down to me This violin includes a new case, dating to May 2024. It also includes a classic Coda Bow, which dates to 1996, in good condition.
The case includes a hygrometer, a Boveda 2-way humidity pack, a string tube, humidifier, two carrying straps, a silk bag and velvet/silk cover. The case can be used with a single shoulder strap or two straps and carried as a backpack configuration.
It also has an exterior pouch for sheet music and accessories. Inside it has a stow strap for a shoulder rest. I believe Larson Tsigane strings are the best fit but it will be based on your playing style and preferences.
