Offered are two 4” Rockwell International circuit wafers. Included is the Rockwell 6502 CPU with 400+ microprocessors on a unique wafer circuit layout. The 6502 is one of the most iconic processors ever developed. Rockwell licensed the technology from Mos in 1975 making Rockwell one of the largest producers of the 6502 which later became a family adding the 6503, 6507 and others rooted off the 6502 architecture.

Considered rare and a high end collectible by itself I have decided to include another highly collectible known as the ALOHA wafer which also uses a 6502 variant in an early microcontroller. Rockwell engineers were promised a trip to Hawaii if schedules met. They stamped ALOHA (chip art) into each circuit forever archiving the event.

It was considered the Wild West of electronics back then, with lots of young gunslinging engineers getting it done while expanding the technology. It was also during the chip art phase of the industry. A great addition for anybody looking not only for something quite rare and unique but with historical provenance and cool stories attached.
