Description

Gibson 1965 SG Junior Ember Red Used Electric Guitar 1965

The Junior model, which underwent a model change to the SG shape in 1961 along with the higher-end Custom and Standard models, has always been popular due to its direct and straightforward sound, derived from its solid mahogany body and P-90 pickup configuration, which are the same wood materials and pickup configuration as the Les Paul Junior.

This particular guitar is a 1965 model, produced in the final period before the transition to narrow necks and wide nuts, and features a custom color, "Embre Red" finish! While it's a transitional period with a mix of nickel-plated and chrome-plated parts, and only the Lightning bridge uses chrome-plated parts, this rare example remains completely original, including the frets, nut, and electronics.

Gibson custom color guitars are extremely rare and always attract attention both domestically and internationally. The vibrant Ember Red has a cool look that's different from the regular cherry color!

And of course, the sound is the powerful sound directly inherited from the Les Paul Junior! A rare custom-colored SG Junior from the wide-nut era, this 1950s Junior is a must-see for anyone looking for one.

It comes with the original chipboard case with a Gibson badge inside.
