From the final phase of the vaulted 950 series 😥 - the last of the OG 'Grey stuff'
The rear is brand new, in its original retail packaging. The front is brand new, it's never been mounted but isn't in its original retail packaging.
A sightly evolved/revised version of the original M950 RD. The actual mechanism is the same as the earlier '8 speed' version (they're both 8/9 speed compatible) The titanium mounting (hanger) bolt has been replaced with a super slimmed down stainless item - it weighs exactly the same as the OG Ti! The cage has been "grey'd" , the pulleys are a tooth bigger and she's got a pair of mis matched boots! - apart from that she's just like her older sister!!
The 'Original E-type' and definitely the best! Hinged swing plate all aluminium cage (Hard Coated), woven carbon fibre 'e' mounting bracket, aluminium setting screws and a titanium (cable) clamping bolt.
If you're going to use the FD for what it was originally intended for (high energy mountain biking) an additional mounting point is highly recommended (a braze on style shell clamp). If it's just for 'light use' and/or decorative purposes it'll be just fine just hanging on/off your right hand cap/cup!
