The Arlington Park Racecourse operated for nearly 100 years just outside of Chicago in the quaint suburb of Arlington Heights.  The park hosted the first thoroughbred race with a purse of one million dollars and survived the Great Depression, a major fire, and a two year shutdown caused by contractual disputes.  The owners of the park ultimately decided the economics of the gaming industry made future operations economically unprofitable and decided to shut down the operation.  The final race was held in 2021 and the property was sold to the Chicago Bears shortly thereafter.  The entire facility was eventually torn down in 2023 with hopes that a new stadium would be built on the property for the Chicago Bears.  

We are proud to offer some remaining memorabilia from the historic Arlington International Racecourse.  We have a variety of different type of items that are perfect for both the casual fan looking for a relic from the track or the more serious collector of memorabilia from bygone venues.

This is a light blue polo or golf shirt manufactured by Sport Tek.  The shirt is marked as a size XL and has a small Arlington Park logo on the front side with a larger sized logo on the back of the shirt.  This is a new shirt that has never been worn.

We generally ship through USPS however the performance of the local post office is unpredictable and we reserve the right to select another carrier, at no additional cost to you, if we feel that carrier will provide a better delivery outcome for your item at the time of sale.
