According to the original production documentation, this custom-designed vintage-style ringer tee was created for use during the production of Joe Dirt. The film featured Joe Dirt wearing several different vintage-inspired band shirts throughout production, and this Molly Hatchet shirt was custom made by the wardrobe department as one of those designs. Although ultimately not seen in the finished film, it remains an authentic production-made wardrobe piece from the movie.
