The obverse side features the Seal of the Republic of the Philippines with the text "REPUBLIKA NG PILIPINAS" and the denomination "1-PISO."

The reverse side depicts an intricate depiction of Hinulugang Taktak Waterfalls, a Breadfruit (Sangka) tree, and the image of Nuestro Señora de la Paz y Buen Viaje (Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage), inscribed with "IKA-400 NA TAON NG ANTIPOLO, RIZAL 1591-1991."

The front layout features an elegant vertical banner with traditional filigree patterns, a depiction of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, and bold typography.
