A striking vintage set of six decorative Venetian-style stemmed glasses, made in Italy and dating approximately from the 1960s–1970s.
The set includes six glasses in different colours, including red, green, blue, turquoise and pale shades. Each glass is richly decorated with extensive gold gilding, hand-painted enamel ornaments and applied three-dimensional glass flowers.
The elaborate combination of coloured glass, gilding and enamel decoration is associated with the traditional Venetian Tre Fuochi style.
These elegant glasses were most likely intended for serving liqueur, cordial, aperitif or dessert wine. They are also highly decorative and would make an attractive addition to a vintage barware collection or display cabinet.
