Offered here is an original vintage 8” x 10” glamour photograph of chorus performer Marion Ramon, a member of Earl Carroll’s Vanities, one of the most famous theatrical revues of the late 1920s and early 1930s.

The portrait features Marion posed in an elegant, tastefully risqué draped costume typical of the glamorous promotional photography created for stage performers during the era. The photograph bears the printed photographer’s signature “Bloom, Chicago” and remains housed in its original Bloom Photographers glassine/cellophane sleeve, adding to its originality and provenance.

This photograph came directly from Marion Ramon’s estate, along with a substantial collection of her personal memorabilia. I will be offering additional items from her collection—including her scrapbook and other personal material—in future listings. This particular photograph is one of the duplicate examples from the estate.

Condition

* Original vintage 8” x 10” photograph.

* Retains its original Bloom Photographers protective sleeve.

* Has developed a gentle curve from age and long-term storage.

* Otherwise remains in excellent vintage condition with attractive contrast and presentation.

It is pictured solely to document and identify Marion Ramon, confirming the provenance of the estate from which this photograph originated.
