Item Information:

This listing is for two vintage cordial glasses from the defunct Capital Airlines. Only one of these rare glasses has come up for sale previously. These two glasses are from the V.I.P. Flight, NSE New Orleans 1959.

Capital Airlines was a major United States trunk carrier that operated from 1948 until 1961.  Despite its innovations, the airline faced severe financial struggles in the late 1950s and merged into United Airlines in 1961, which was the largest airline merger in history at the time.

These glasses measure 4 1/8 inches tall.

The pieces are in good to good-plus condition. There are no chips or cracks, and no flake chips. The design is intact on both, showing just light fading from age. There are a few minor spots of scuffing on the clear glass, otherwise there is no damage on either glass. There are no stains. Please see the pictures for more information and to help with your decision.

If purchasing several items, I offer combined shipping and charge only actual shipping costs with no handling fee.  A buyer may wait for an adjusted invoice (typically sent within 4-24 hours) or any excess shipping refund will be immediately returned through PayPal after packaging.   You may also note there is no additional change in shipping if purchasing several multiples (typically dishware items like plates, bowls, etc.).  This is due to Dimensional Weight Packaging.  Depending upon delivery location, box size and weight, there may be no additional shipping charge - up to a point.
